
Some former WorldVenture teammates are back in Spain for about 6 weeks, visiting friends and helping out at ECA (they were teachers there for 9 years). Last Saturday they invited me, and one of our teachers, to come with them as they explored an area south of Madrid, in the mountains near Toledo. We visited several small towns and ended up in a National Park before heading back to the Madrid area.

This castle was off the highway between two of the towns. This was as close as we could get at this time of year. They close the road to it from February through May (not sure why unless it's protect the Spring growth).

As we drove through the park (and even before), we saw lots and lots of beautiful wildflowers. These are only a sampling. To see more photos, you can go
