Normally, I am always in Spain for Mother's Day so this is the first time in 5 years that I've been able to celebrate "at home." My daughter is in Mongolia but she arranged for a friend to get me a bouquet of daisies (my favorite flower). We chatted briefly this morning via the wonderful world of internet. My son took me to lunch and then to see the new Star Trek movie, which I thought was great. Then we had dinner and spent the evening with some dear friends. All in all, a wonderful day. Thank you, Lord, for giving me two of the greatest kids on the planet.

Mother's Day
