Thanksgiving

I know, it's very late to be posting about Thanksgiving, but I didn't want it to pass by without mentioning how grateful I am for so many things. I could give you an excuse for why this post is so late, but it doesn't really matter. So here is a list of some of the things I am grateful for this year, in no particular order.

• Our friends, the Vincents, who have opened their home to me while I'm in the States. (They have been opening their home to my kids for holidays and other special days while I've been in Spain.) The picture above was taken at their house on Thanksgiving Day.
• The many people who have supported me with their finances, their prayers, their encouragement by emails and gifts. I am so very grateful for you!
• My children are a huge blessing to me! I am very grateful for their love for the Lord, for other people (including me) and even for each other.
  
• Visiting my favorite restaurants with many of you while I'm in the States.
• Safety as I travel around Denver and fly to various other places in the States.
• Being able to walk into a bookstore and actually buy books that I can read.
• The generosity of many of you as you have welcomed me back with gift cards, baskets and cash for treating myself to special things like massages and manicures. What a gift you are!
• A great group of people to work with in Spain. Our WorldVenture teammates have become like family, even though I don't see some of them more than twice a year.

There is much more that probably should be listed but I'm out of time and space (because I don't want this to be too long). The Lord has been good to me this past year in many, many ways and I am grateful.
